| Pixel Ads Can Only Survive If They Offer a Powerful Viral Marketing Hook |
|
Only one Pixel Ads site carries enough clout to compete with this format. And that Pixel Ads site is the original at: Million Dollar Home Page
That Pixel Ads site has the advantage of being the first site of its kind, and the loads of free press that goes along with being the first. It also has the free publicity that goes along with the ability of its owner to generate a substantial amount of income in very short order.
The Million Dollar Home Page will only be popular until the novelty wears off.
Yes, Driving to California is new, but it has a special twist to it.
Driving To California offers a unique, twisted and humorous angle on visiting California. Because so many people will find this site to be funny, they will want to share it with their friends. Of course, we will give them the tools to let their friends know about our site, but even if we did not, visitors will take whatever efforts are necessary to tell their friends about our website.
This site will utilize Viral Marketing at its finest. People will go out of their way to share this site with their friends, and their friends will come to see our website because their friends told them to do so.
For the record, this is not my first funny website driven by viral marketing. In 1999, I created a page called Pointless Clicking. To this day, it generates more than 3,000 unique visitors a month, based only on word-of-mouth recommendation (viral marketing).
This site should do just as well, if not better.
While the competing Pixel Ad Sites will come, and they will go by the wayside as the novelty wears off, this site will keep on trucking, because people love to share funny websites with all of their friends.
